After preparing for 3 months, it’s finally here – our first day of Homeschool for the 2020-2021 school year! We started out slow with a couple of subjects and then had lunch at a park! I wish my first days of school were this much fun!
Our struggle on the first day of school was patience. All 3 kids wanted their work done as soon as possible for Nintendo Switch time, but there is only one teacher! They will have to learn to be patient and/or work on something else until it’s their turn. Our 5 month old also decided to be the center of attention and spit up all over the floor. Just as I expected, our first day was messy and a little chaotic and that is totally okay.
My kids have been enjoying their Prodigy memberships in their free time and asked me to get Spelling City for their spelling lists today! I love all of the fun programs that we can use for homeschool. We are very excited for all the opportunities to learn this year!
