In the first 3 weeks of school, my favorite activity was making a hieroglyphic clay tablet. We learned about Ancient Egypt and how the first writings were on clay or stone and then on papyrus, which is like paper. We learned about the Fertile Crescent by listening to our Story of the World curriculum. After listening to a chapter, we mark places on a map and color a picture that relates to the information we learned.

My favorite thing we did in the first 3 weeks of school was my tech building and engineering class. We received a big Minecraft Lego set to build. My younger sister and I built a Minecraft house following the instructions that were included. We needed some help to find the right pieces and to make it like the picture shown. We put together the characters and animals too! I also liked making this Native American drawing following steps in my Language Arts course.

When we do school work, I always want to do reading for 20 minutes first! I have built up confidence to enjoy reading. (I would always tell my mom, "I can't read!" but I actually could, I just didn't know it yet!). I have read through all of the Beginner Books from Box B, C and D from The Good and The Beautiful's Library. I started reading my favorite books from the Pig the Pug series by myself!
