I started a new unit in literature this week. I have been reading and learning about the author Virginia Hamilton. I am continuing to practice grammar in language arts and with my Fix-It Grammar workbook. I am learning about measurement conversions in math.

We didn't have spelling this week, so we had less work to do! I have been continuing to learn about grammar and writing in language arts. I also read about different countries in my language arts lessons. I have been drawing more animals from my how-to draw books.

I've been practicing grammar with my Fix-It Grammar workbook. I have also been learning about comparing things in writing. I compared a dog and a pig with a Venn diagram. I had my birthday party this week and it was pig-themed!
