In CTC Math, I have been learning about patterns and algebra. I am finding this unit to be much easier than division and multiplication. I have been easily passing my sections on geometric patterns, number sentences and describing number patterns. I still need to work on the older lessons where I got less than 80%, which I will be doing this week.

We started our Space Science unit this past week. We learned about the planets in the Solar System as well as The Milky Way. Our first assignment was to draw and color the planets in order. We learned "My Very Educated Mother Just Served Us Noodles" to remember the order of the planets. I loved coloring them in!

In Math Mammoth, I started learning about time. My first lessons were about the hour hand and how to tell time with it. I learned what 'half past' something means and drew in the hour hand to show different times. I will be starting lessons on the minute hand this week! I'm excited to learn how to tell time on a clock.
