Every Friday, we work in our Big Life Journal and Brain Quest workbook. It is a shorter day for us and less work to do, which is why I love Fridays! The Brain Quest workbook is a review of the whole grade of Language Arts, Math, Grammar, and other subjects. We get to choose a page in any subject and complete it.

This past week in Language Arts I read a story about a turtle. It was a story about a boy who almost hurt the turtle because he saw other boys doing it. He heard a voice saying not to hurt the animal and he listened. It was a good story about how we should be kind to animals. I love animals and would never hurt them!

I have been reviewing money in Math. I like to do the shopping problems because it is like I am shopping for real! I can click on the coins and make change in CTC Math. I have also been learning about telling time in Math Mammoth. Now I am starting a unit on shapes. It is pretty easy right now because I learned about shapes in Kindergarten.
