In our arthropods unit, we learned the difference between insects and arachnids. For example, insects have 6 legs and arachnids (spiders) have 8 legs. We did a project on insects this past week. I chose to research facts about the mosquito. We then presented them to family.

We are learning about insects in science with this new unit. We had a project to pick an insect, draw it, and write five facts about that insect. I love ladybugs, so I chose that insect. I found some facts on the internet about ladybugs and drew this picture. We then presented them in front of mom, dad, and siblings.

After our first keyboard got lost in the mail, we finally received a new one to start playing piano! I started by learning that each of my fingers represents a number to play notes in my All-In-One Course book. I was able to play 2 songs so far! I am having so much fun learning to play. I like to make up my own songs and sing in the microphone too!
